What is a diet ?
It is a diet plan that is healthy and prescribed specifically for you by professional nutritionists according to your body type and needs, so that you are not compromising your health by consuming more or less of the foods that you consume daily. In general, after you determine your perfect weight by body mass index calculation according to gender, age and weight needs, they make a list of diet for you to consume the needed nutrients. You can request from your dietitian several tests and analyzes whenever necessary. While sitting with your dietitian, it would be wise to mention the foods that you can’t ever give up eating. While indispensable foods are added to your list of diet, some food items are being dropped from the list so that you can have a balanced and proper diet, thus having a healthy diet. Dieting is not starving, as people think, but possessing a healthy body by continuously eating evenly using medium foods.

Who is called a dietitian?
People who graduate from the 4-year nutrition and dietetics department of universities are called dietitians. Dietitians are not only interested in weight gain or loss, but also examine the effects of nutrients on the human body. It can develop diet products by performing nutritional analysis or prepare a diet program suitable for people’s diseases.
